How do I apply for funding?

What are our Target Funding Projects?
  • Needy students Tuition fees and external Exams fees sponsorship

What are the Funding Requirements?
  • One must be a student at Uwezo College
  • Duly completed bursary form must be submitted and any accompanying support documents
  • Review of the forms to determine the status of the completion
  • Analysis and weighting of the application forms
  • Short courses in solar installation and maintenance
  • Recommendation report on possible beneficiaries to Uwezo Wetu Foundation Board of Management.
Application Process
  • Students must apply for financial aid online through this page.
  • Ensure that you meet the requirements for financial aid you wish to apply.
  • Attach the necessary supporting documents such as copies of your KCSE results and College admission letter.
  • Await notification on the status of your financial aid application, if your application is successful, you will be given an offer letter. Carefully review and follow the terms and conditions on the financial aid offer letter.
  • Return the completed financial aid offer letter on or before the stated deadline.
  • Your financial aid will be credited to your student account after all financial aid award requirements are met. No funds will be disbursed to your student account unless you have complied with all the requirements.
Tips to ensure success in the financial aid process
  • You must have obtained admission to study at Uwezo College.
  • Ensure that you meet eligibility criteria for the specific financial aid you wish to apply for.
  • Respond promptly to all correspondences from the Financial Aid Office and request for additional information/clarification regarding your application.
  • Ensure that all contacts provided to the Financial Aid Office are current. If they are not current, you run the risk of not receiving communication from the College.
  • Take an active role in the financial aid process
